Training Opportunities
Students and Post-Doctoral Training Opportunities
Collective Care Clinic (CCC) offers clinical training opportunities in behavioral health. Students and Post-Doctoral Residents have the opportunity to engage with our Intermediate Care Programs (ICPs), learning and applying evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, and interpersonal treatments for individuals who suffer from a variety of anxiety, anxiety-related, and depressive conditions.
Typical clinical presentations at our clinic include: obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, body focused repetitive behaviors, trauma spectrum disorders, depressive disorders, and other related conditions.
Graduate Students
Requirements:

- Current enrollment in psychology or mental health graduate program (e.g., masters or doctoral)

Hours and Schedule:
-
-
- Full-time level of commitment (16-24 hours/week), or
- Part-time (8-10 hours/week)
- Once weekly didactic trainings

Student Responsibilities:

- Learn and implement evidence-based treatments
- Exposure & Response Prevention
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment therapy
- Lead or co-lead individual and group psychotherapy
- Opportunities for live feedback and training
- Attend individual and group supervisions
- Must complete documentation in a timely manner
- Learn and implement evidence-based treatments

Supervision:

- Minimum of 1 hour individual supervision per week
- Minimum of 1 hour group supervision per day
- Opportunities for daily supervision

Post-Doctoral Residency
Requirements:
-

- Completed (or projected to complete) all requirements for Doctoral Degrees in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Attended an APA-Accredited doctoral psychology program
- Preference for an APA-Accredited Internship
- Must have an approved resident contract through the Oregon Board of Psychology

- Effectively assess, conceptualize, and treat individuals (and their families) who suffer from Anxiety and Depression
- e.g., OCD, Social Phobia, Panic, BDD, Trichotillomania, Excoriation
- Effectively assess, conceptualize, and treat individuals (and their families) who suffer from Anxiety and Depression

- Learn and implement evidence-based treatments
- Learn to supervise Masters and Doctorate-level students

Supervision:

- Minimum of two hours per week of supervision (individual and group)
- Fellows are encouraged to receive additional supervision and consultation from other licensed staff on-site
- Case conceptualization, clinical skill development, navigate managed care authorizations, develop their professional identity, and more!
